We have all heard that nothing is ever truly free. Someone had to pay the price. Humans have been caught up in sin and enslaved to it, Who could set us free? Who would bring humanity this beautiful thing called "freedom?" Our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ the Messiah and Annointed Son of the Living God came to offer His body, His blood, His life so that you and I could enjoy freedom! Isn't that just remarkable! It is amazing to think about. Let us never forget the price that Jesus paid for us, and let us tell the lost about the Person Who loves them so much and wants to set them free "from the law of sin and death" (Romans 8:2) as well!
"For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ Jesus from the law of sin and death. For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit." Romans 8:2-5
