About Us
Kingdom is an important word to us. We seek to represent and fight for the Kingdom of God and to fight against the kingdom of darkness. Our aim is to spread God's Word and shine the light of His Truth in this lost, dark and broken world. To be quite honest with you, here at Kingdom Come, we are more concerned with message and mission than money. We want to remind Christians about the mission God has sent us on and we seek to encourage them as we all walk together to try to glorify our God! You will probably notice that our designs are simple and minimalist. That is by design. We enjoy simple, minimal designs that are focused and to the point and we recognized that there weren't a lot of Christian clothes that have that look. The best part about our clothing is the Biblical message that is on each and every product! We all wear clothes, might as well glorify God and proclaim His Word with the clothes we wear.
Why Start Kingdom Come?
Well, ya see, I have been a Christian for about 15 years now. I have always enjoyed wearing Christian clothing with the Word of God and other godly messages on it. However, as I got older I started to prefer simplicity and minimalism. I searched for simple, minimal Christian clothing and it was hard to find anything that I really liked. Honestly, I just wasn't a big fan of the clothes that looked like an explosion had happened, where there were all sorts of designs, colors, and words, and the words were two or three different fonts.
I wondered... could I make simple, minimalist clothing that glorified God and proclaimed His Word to the world? So, I jumped right in. I began researching and learning, and pretty soon I was making clothing for myself, family and friends. Then I started making clothes and selling them at farmer's markets and other events in my area. And, let me tell you, I was super encouraged! Other people had the same idea. They would compliment the simplicity of the designs. God has truly blessed me more exceedingly than I could ever ask, seek, or imagine! I believe that He gave me the designs and the skills to make this happen. All glory goes to Him! There is no way that I would be where I am without His guidance and help!
Origin Story
The idea for Kingdom Come came in 2020 at the height of Covid. I was sitting on the couch reading the Bible. I came across the story found in Numbers chapters 13 and 14 and saw striking similarities between what those Israelites were going through and what was happening in the world around me.
The Israelites were about to enter a land that they didn't know. They weren't only going to enter the land, but they would have to fight for it. They were going to have to face battle-ready people, fortresses and GIANTS! Almost everyone was too afraid to fight.
In 2020, I saw two evil, dark, and massive GIANTS that we Christians needed to face. They weren't giants like Goliath. You couldn't hit the with a stone, or a bullet, you couldn't stab them; the giants we faced were spiritual giants. Giants we still have to fight today. Those 2 giants are Fear and Abortion!
I felt compelled to do something in this fight, and I believe that the Holy Spirit worked in my mind and heart and gave me the idea for this ministry. We Christians could spread the Word, light and Truth of God to the world with our clothing. We could remind Christians of the fight and tell the world about the battle as well. We could also wear the clothes as a way to encourage and motivate brothers and sisters in Christ in the midst of this spiritual war we are entrenched in!
